Chelsea Blanchard

After a long, lost, painfully difficult life with puzzle pieces not fitting together, I was searching for more clarity to become the woman I believe I am now capable of being.

March 21 of this year was my turning point.

Riddled with anxieties and fears, I was directed to read Donald Robertson’s “How to Think Like a Roman Emperor.”

What I heard in his book was familiar and a pivotal point in my journey.

I related to Marcus Aurelius, to the author’s own bit of his personal story, and to the philosophy as a whole.

I was hooked.

I started studying and I haven’t stopped.

Stoicism had been the missing piece in my life but now I have found it, it has changed my outlook on life and eased my anxieties and fears to a tolerable measure.

I am eager to wake up, read, listen, study and practise it all in my daily life.

I’m excited to learn more so that I can one day share my new found wisdom with others.

I flourish on my wanderings in nature around the Fraser Valley of BC, Canada with my dogs.

Meditation in motion.

I’m Chelsea Blanchard and this is my #PathsToFlourishing story.

This is a #PathsToFlourishing story published as part of a series of stories inspired by the Stoicon-x Women 2021 theme: Practical Paths to Flourishing.
